In a survey of major Florida health insurance plans, J.D. Power and Associates found Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida on top, with Humana close behind in overall member satisfaction.
The J.D. Power survey measured member satisfaction in 131 health plans in 17 regions of the U.S. It found that enrollees at large companies were generally happier with their health plans than enrollees at small businesses.
In Florida, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida had the highest results among the five major plans surveyed. Humana also scored five stars for overall experience with J.D. Power.
They were followed by UnitedHealthcare, with four stars, and Aetna and Cigna, which both had two stars.
